- Hi!
-
- I have an A2000 with a version 4.2 motherboard, and am planning to get a GVP
- GForce 040 33MHz Combo Card (the orignal GVP, not the new company). Anyway,
- I heard that there could be timing issues with that rev of the Amiga motherboard.
- However, several years ago, I had a resistor put onto the A2000 motherboard so that I
- could run GVP's Series HC+8 scsi card. Should that help with any timing issues
- once I receive the GForce?
-
- How about if I move to a Rev 4.5 motherboard. I may have one available.
- I know most people say that a Rev 6 or higher is needed, but I don't know what the
- addition of the resistor to my motherboard has done for me timingwise. Any ideas?
-
- Anybody using a 4.2 rev motherboard with a GForce 040 33MHz?
-
- Along with your post, please e-mail me your response since I can't always get
- access to news.
-
- Thanks so much!
